UHF SENSOR Features
- 01
High-bandwidth, lightweight, and compact partial discharge sensor
The GIS UHF Sensor is a Partial Discharge Sensor with high response bandwidth, light weight, and compact size. It is suitable for fixed-point monitoring applications on GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) and high-voltage power equipment. Its compact design reduces installation constraints on site and is suitable for long-term Online Partial Discharge Monitoring and high-voltage equipment health diagnostics.
- 02
300 MHz–3000 MHz ultra-high-frequency operating range
The sensor operates from 300 MHz to 3000 MHz, matching the ultra-high-frequency electromagnetic wave signal range generated by Partial Discharge (PD). It can effectively receive electromagnetic radiation signals produced by internal insulation degradation, abnormal discharge, or potential faults inside GIS.
- 03
Robust appearance for fixed-point GIS monitoring
The sensor has a rugged and durable exterior design, making it easy to install on GIS equipment for fixed partial discharge monitoring. It supports long-term stable operation and helps users understand equipment insulation condition and partial discharge trends.
- 04
High interference immunity to effectively eliminate site noise
This product is designed to reduce site noise and electromagnetic interference effectively, improving partial discharge signal reception quality and detection sensitivity. It is suitable for substations, industrial plants, science parks, high-voltage power systems, and other complex electromagnetic environments.
Suitable for GIS and EBG partial discharge measurements
- 01 Partial discharge monitoring of GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear)
- 02 EBG partial discharge measurement
- 03 Online monitoring of high-voltage switchgear
- 04 Insulation condition diagnostics for substation equipment
- 05 Predictive maintenance of high-voltage power systems
It helps customers detect abnormalities in the early stage of insulation degradation, reducing the risk of unexpected downtime and equipment failure.
